Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative solutions in the insurance sector, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will build and deploy ML models, perform exploratory data analysis, and enhance model performance while working remotely or in New York.

Key responsibilities

• Build ML models for production use and perform in-depth exploratory data analysis
• Translate client business problems into ML problems and suggest new features to improve model performance
• Write and review production-quality PRs daily while focusing on scalable machine learning solutions

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist in scalable production environments
• Deep exposure to data science & ML tech stacks such as sklearn, Keras/PyTorch, and proficiency in Python/Pandas/Jupyter
• Experience with model-serving pipelines and advanced statistical modeling
• Strong team player with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with Claude Code and related tools is a plus
