Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering with PhD researchers, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design, implement, and productize machine learning models for quantitative trading strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers to develop and maintain complex data pipelines and machine learning models
• Translate research prototypes into performant, production-ready code while ensuring system reliability and maintainability
• Lead projects from requirements through delivery, coordinating with stakeholders and guiding junior engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
• Demonstrated mathematical maturity and comfort with statistics, linear algebra, optimization, and probability concepts
• Deep proficiency in Python, with experience in numerical and data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and TensorFlow
• Proven experience in building or maintaining machine learning systems in a distributed computing environment
