Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Taking operational ownership of deployed machine learning and AI services, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will monitor model performance, improve deployment practices, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operational management of machine learning and AI services, ensuring model performance and coordinating with data scientists for production readiness
• Enhance inference performance of models through techniques like quantization and efficient serialization, while maintaining observability and deployment hygiene
• Design and implement consistent processes for experiment tracking, model versioning, and artifact management to streamline collaboration with data scientists

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years focused on production ML systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with deploying PyTorch models in production
• Hands-on experience with experiment tracking and model lifecycle tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases
• Familiarity with AWS services for deploying ML applications, including Lambda and S3
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML services
