Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work remotely, who will own the full lifecycle of extraction models, partner with Clinical Data Managers, and build clinical NLP pipelines against messy real-world data.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of extraction models, including framing, data strategy, model training, evaluation, and deployment
• Define accuracy standards with stakeholders and build robust evaluation frameworks
• Collaborate with Clinical Data Managers on curation design and oversee the technical aspects of QA/QC processes

Required qualifications

• Healthcare or life sciences experience with real clinical data
• 6+ years in applied ML with a proven track record of deploying models in production
• Expertise in applied ML on text, including information extraction and evaluation practices
• Current experience with LLM-based approaches, including prompt development and evaluation
• Strong engineering skills in Python for production-level work
