Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the production ML lifecycle, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer will build and operate a real-time inference service for risk decisioning, ensuring low latency and high availability while working remotely or from specified locations in the U.S. or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate the real-time inference service for model scoring with a focus on low latency and high availability
• Manage model deployment infrastructure, including CI/CD processes, performance checks, and staged rollouts
• Develop model observability features, including monitoring for availability, latency, errors, and drift detection

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, backend software engineering, MLOps, or a related field
• Proven experience deploying and operating ML models in low-latency, high-availability environments
• Strong backend engineering skills in Python, with experience in API frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
• Familiarity with model deployment tools, CI/CD processes, and versioning practices
• Experience in building observability and alerting systems for production services
