Job Summary

To shape user interactions within a digital marketplace, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design and enhance ranking systems through experimentation and measurement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient solutions.

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, with 3+ years post-PhD or 5+ years of industry experience
• Strong foundations in applied machine learning, statistics, and optimization, particularly in ranking and recommendations
• Proficiency in Python and solid software engineering practices, including testing and CI/CD
• Experience with large-scale datasets, distributed systems, and latency-sensitive production machine learning
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across functions with an ownership mindset
