Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Growth organization, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and operate ML systems that enhance customer engagement and drive personalized experiences throughout the customer lifecycle, working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop models and decisioning services for personalized recommendations and customer engagement journeys
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate growth opportunities into measurable experiments and production capabilities
- Define and implement strategies for evolving ML capabilities to support Atlassian's goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning
- Expertise in Python and familiarity with SQL, Spark, and cloud data environments
- Experience building and scaling machine learning models using large datasets
- Ability to communicate ML concepts effectively to diverse audiences
