Senior Machine Learning Engineer II Perception

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II, Perception for a US Remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore, prototype, validate, and iterate new algorithms from a research perspective
• Drive efforts to optimize, supervise, and refine on-road performance for models on the path to production
• Support hardware organization with sensitivity studies for hardware selection and architecture investigations

Required Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of computer vision fundamentals and ML model development
• Ability to run and retrain perception machine learning models and evaluate model performance
• Experience working independently and multi-functionally between hardware and perception teams
• Basic knowledge of sensing physics and different sensing modalities
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages
