Senior Machine Learning Researcher

Job Summary

Thriving on experimentation, the full-time remote Senior Machine Learning Researcher will plan and execute experiments to refine deep learning architectures, implement cutting-edge algorithms, and collaborate with engineers to develop robust models for advanced computer vision and robotics applications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and run experiments to evaluate and refine deep learning architectures and training methodologies
• Research and implement new algorithms and model architectures from recent ML papers relevant to perception and scene understanding
• Collaborate with engineers to translate research insights into deployable models and document findings for future work

Required qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in modern ML methods
• Familiarity with version-controlled experimentation and MLOps tools
• Experience independently running and evaluating experiments from dataset preparation through model training and analysis
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and implement research papers
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences
