Senior Machine Learning Researcher

Job Summary

Owning a multimodal ML work-stream, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Researcher will translate clinical needs into ML objectives, build and evaluate modern ML systems, and partner with engineering to productionize models in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate clinical and product needs into clear ML objectives, data strategies, and model approaches
• Build and evaluate modern ML systems, including transformers and self-supervised learning
• Communicate research findings and technical decisions clearly to technical and clinical partners

Required qualifications

• Strong applied experience in computer vision, NLP, or deep learning with a proven track record in ML project ownership
• Deep hands-on ability in Python and PyTorch, with a strong understanding of model architecture and evaluation
• Experience with modern vision or multimodal techniques such as vision transformers and contrastive learning
• Typically 4+ years of relevant applied ML research or engineering experience
• An MS, PhD, or equivalent practical experience in a related quantitative field
