Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Scientist (USA Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define questions and curate data for model training
• Develop and optimize Machine Learning models, ensuring best practices in dataset selection and architecture
• Communicate insights and model behavior to peers and product owners, while maintaining clean and efficient code

Required Qualifications

• Experience in building Deep Learning and ML models with text data, including supervised and unsupervised learning
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning mathematics and theory
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, proficient in Python, SQL, and Unix-based systems
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math, or related field
• Familiarity with Language Models and experience in training or fine-tuning them
