Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Scientist (USA Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and product owners to define research questions and curate datasets
• Develop, tune, and optimize Machine Learning models for production use
• Stay current with advancements in the field and communicate findings and model behavior to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Experience with text data and building Deep Learning and Machine Learning models
• Strong understanding of the mathematics and theory behind machine learning and deep learning
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly with Python, SQL, and Unix-based systems
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math, or a related field
• Familiarity with Language Models and experience in training or fine-tuning them
