Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Machine Learning Scientist will focus on model training and maintenance, dataset construction, and model hardening while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and product owners to define research questions and curate optimal datasets
• Develop and tune Machine Learning models, optimizing them for production usage and utilizing various Language Models
• Communicate insights and model behaviors to peers and stakeholders, while maintaining clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Required qualifications

• Experience with text data to build Deep Learning and ML models, with additional experience in vision and speech as a bonus
• Strong understanding of the math and theory behind machine learning and deep learning
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly with Python, SQL, and Unix-based systems
• Proficiency in Machine/Deep Learning development tools, including AWS SageMaker, PyTorch, and Hugging Face
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or related field, with relevant industry experience
