Senior Mainframe Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Application Developer (COBOL / CICS / zOS).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain application programs in an IBM Mainframe zOS environment
• Support payment-processing applications, including transaction flows and integrations
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for application delivery

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on application development experience in a Mainframe zOS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in COBOL and CICS development
• Solid experience with JCL, VSAM, and Mainframe utilities/tools
• Experience with payment-processing systems and high-volume transaction environments
