Senior Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer with 8+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients for Mainframe Modernization project work
- Analyze existing systems across various Mainframe LPARs and set up testing environments
- Design and develop automated solutions for Mainframe Modernization and respond to service tickets
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development
- Hands-on experience in running JCLs and managing Mainframe file configurations (VSAM, Tapes, Seq files)
- Experience handling DB2 data and developing DB2 unload/load JCLs
- Proficient in debugging, configuring, and developing COBOL programs on Mainframe
- Experience writing automated scripts for test JCL setup and code analysis
