Senior Mainframe Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the mainframe-based legacy tax management system (ITAS)
• Participate in the requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance support of the system
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and implement legislative and operational changes

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing/maintaining mainframe-based tax management systems using COBOL
• Development experience with COBOL, EASYTRIEVE, MVS JCL, CICS, SQL, and DB2
• Experience in technical and functional requirements documentation
• Extensive knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with databases such as VSAM, DB2, and IMS
