Senior Mainframe Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Developer to support its Annuity Platform Transformation Initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of current-state annuity administration systems and application architecture
• Analyze and document existing mainframe business processes and technical workflows to support modernization planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical debt, system inefficiencies, and modernization opportunities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development or Systems Analysis within enterprise-scale environments
• Strong experience with annuity or insurance administration platforms such as Vantage-One or FAST
• Advanced proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with current-state system analysis and technical documentation for modernization initiatives
