Designing and supporting healthcare claims applications, the full-time remote Senior Mainframe Developer will utilize COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance claims processing efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain healthcare claims applications
- Translate business requirements into scalable mainframe solutions supporting claims adjudication workflows
- Provide technical leadership to offshore teams and coordinate project delivery
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing mainframe applications with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ
- Experience with healthcare claims adjudication processes and related workflows
- Knowledge of code migration and release management procedures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex application issues
- Ability to work independently in an Agile delivery environment
