Senior Mainframe Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Mainframe Engineer to manage and enhance mainframe systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Mainframe CICS and MQ subsystems across multiple environments
- Provide technical direction and education to internal teams and external partners
- Analyze and enhance mainframe systems for performance, availability, and scalability
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with IBM Mainframe hardware, including z15 and z16 machines
- Familiarity with a variety of mainframe system software products and concepts
- Experience leading systems analysis, design, and architecture efforts
- Self-motivated with advanced troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to learning
