Job Summary

Senior Mainframe Engineer, responsible for troubleshooting programming defects, supporting nightly batch processing, and maintaining core banking systems in a remote, contract position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and fix programming defects in enterprise banking applications
• Support nightly batch processing and maintain core banking systems
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for overnight batch support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mainframe programming/support
• Extensive experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL
• Hands-on experience with FIS/Systematics core banking applications is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Ability to provide production and lower-environment support
