Senior Mainframe Modernization Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legacy Modernization (Mainframe) leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate mainframe application landscapes and analyze technical debt for modernization strategies
• Develop comprehensive application modernization strategies, including target architecture and migration approaches
• Lead cross-functional teams through modernization projects, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 16+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10+ years leading cloud projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
• 5+ years of experience building solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
• 15+ years in application development and modernization, especially with mainframe and iSeries platforms
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms and experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
