Senior Mainframe Programmer Analyst
Job Summary
To support application development and maintenance in the banking and finance sector, the full-time Senior Mainframe Programmer Analyst will enhance, debug, and provide support for COBOL-based retail lending and collections applications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide domain expertise and ensure application design aligns with the architectural blueprint
- Collaborate with delivery teams to integrate application enhancements and process improvements
- Conduct in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of COBOL application development experience on mainframe financial software applications
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, TSO, ISPF, VSAM, EZTRIEVE, CICS, and IBM-MQ
- Experience with IBM or CA Suite of Development Products and Tools
- 5+ years of experience in application development support and IT operations
- Proven track record of managing and implementing projects from design to implementation
