Senior Mainframe Storage Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a large enterprise environment, the full-time Senior Mainframe Storage Engineer will administer and optimize IBM mainframe storage infrastructure across multiple data centers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise IBM z/OS storage environments
- Monitor and optimize SMS pools, DASD utilization, and storage performance
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery operations across geographically distributed data centers
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain Postal Service clearance
- 5+ years of IBM z/OS storage administration experience
- 5+ years of Dell EMC enterprise storage administration experience
- Hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax and Data Domain
- Experience supporting enterprise disaster recovery operations
