Senior Mainframe Storage Software Systems Architect
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Storage Software/Systems Architect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and configure Mainframe DASD storage availability, SMS constructs, ACS routines
- Monitor, support, maintain, and enhance associated storage, backups, and data replication for Sysplexes
- Analyze and determine cause of Mainframe DASD space concerns
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with z System architectures (z/OS/z/VM)
- Must have experience with DASD and storage
- Knowledge in z/OS, z/VM, SMP/E, JES/EJES, TSO/ISPF, DFSMS Management, Capacity Management, VTAM, and JCL
- Experience in Installation and using IBM TS7700 series and EMC, replication software
- Master's degree (computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline) and 10 years of prior relevant experience
