Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe System Programmer (z/OS).

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and customize operating systems and third-party ISV system software
Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
Support mainframe hardware upgrades and provide training to clients and colleagues

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience with installing ISV software from vendors
6+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, IBM system utilities, zSeries, z/OS, and MVS
6+ years of experience with software installation and customization
5+ years of experience with system performance and capacity planning
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
