Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - zVSE.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, and implementation of z/VSE operating systems and software
• Mentor team members and manage ongoing projects, including software upgrades and tuning
• Conduct research and evaluate new software and hardware products while providing technical support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field
• Fluent in VSE JCL with the ability to advise on JCL issues
• Knowledge of ISV and IBM z/VSE software installation and administration
• Experience with IBM Z hardware and networking concepts
• Working knowledge of z/VM, including CP and CMS
