Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - zVSE.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, and implementation of z/VSE operating systems and software
• Mentor team members and manage ongoing projects, including system maintenance and tuning
• Collaborate with various departments and provide technical support for hardware and software solutions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mainframe systems programming
• Fluent in VSE JCL with the ability to advise on JCL issues
• Knowledge of installation and administration of ISV and IBM z/VSE software
• Experience with IBM Z hardware and general networking concepts
• Working knowledge of z/VM, including CP and CMS
