Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support for the mainframe platform to infrastructure, applications, and third-party teams
• Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and testing of IBM z/OS and third-party software packages
• Oversee disaster recovery planning and perform performance tuning of the z/OS operating system and applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience
• 10+ years of technical experience in engineering and supporting mainframe environments
• 5+ years of providing technical leadership to infrastructure engineers and administrators
• Hands-on experience with IBM mainframe hardware and major third-party software
• Experience in planning and executing complex projects involving hardware and software upgrades
