Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - DB2 Physical.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide DB2 Systems Programmer support and services for mainframe clients, including software upgrades and database administration
• Perform day-to-day database maintenance, including backups, restores, monitoring, and disaster recovery procedures
• Support customer migration services and adhere to ITSM change control procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of professional experience in DB2 Systems Programming support
• Experience with SMP/e and configuring DB2 in a parallel Sysplex environment
• Knowledge of best practices in software management and database security
• Ability to evaluate change requests and troubleshoot production database issues
