Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

Supporting and maintaining IBM z/OS environments, the full-time Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer will administer CICS Transaction Server and IBM MQ, focusing on system administration, software upgrades, and troubleshooting in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS mainframe environments, including CICS and IBM MQ
• Troubleshoot and resolve system abends, outages, and performance issues using logs and monitoring tools
• Develop and execute implementation plans, test plans, and disaster recovery procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• DoD IAT Level II certification required
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mainframe systems programming or administration
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, CICS, and IBM MQ
