Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer
Job Summary
Providing premium software support and services, the full-time remote Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer will manage customer service orders and offer primary support for CICS TS and related OEM software products, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery across multiple time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Fulfill customer service orders for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM software products
- Provide 24/7 support for reported problems and assist in customer migrations and disaster recovery plans
- Install and maintain OEM software products according to best practices and manage resources for timely implementations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience on the zSeries platform with hands-on technical experience in CICS TS and OEM product support
- Thorough knowledge of CICS TS capabilities, installation, and tailoring
- Strong analytical skills and experience with IBM's SMP/E
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure
