Senior Managed Care Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting managed care strategy and contracting activities, the full-time Senior Managed Care Consultant will negotiate agreements, review policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and support the development of managed care agreements, including hospital and professional contracts
• Serve as the primary representative for payor policy review, leading evaluations of policy updates and coordinating with various departments
• Monitor regulatory updates and communicate implications to stakeholders while identifying process improvements for operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
• 5 years of experience in managed care, healthcare contracting, or payor relations
• Experience with payor policies and reimbursement methodologies across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex contract language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
