Senior Manager, Accounting Policy

Job Summary

To support the execution of external financial reporting, the remote Senior Manager, Accounting Policy will manage the preparation and filing of SEC reports, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical research on U.S. GAAP accounting standards and draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions
• Manage the preparation and filing of SEC reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
• Oversee accounting policy development, governance, and process improvements while mentoring a high-performing team

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 Audit and SEC reporting at a publicly traded company
• Active CPA, CA, or equivalent required
• Comprehensive expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations
• Technical accounting experience in areas such as loan accounting, securitization, or revenue recognition
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage tight reporting deadlines
