Senior Manager, Actuarial Operations

Job Summary

Leading a team of actuarial and financial operations professionals, the remote Senior Manager, Actuarial Strategic Operations will oversee governance, initiative portfolio management, and performance monitoring for Clover's Medicare Advantage business while driving the integration of AI and advanced analytics into decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the MA Plan Command Center Operating Model, setting direction and operating standards for actuarial strategic operations
• Own enterprise performance monitoring by developing frameworks and dashboards to track key performance indicators and guide leadership decisions
• Drive cross-functional alignment by partnering with leaders across various departments to ensure initiative alignment with strategic objectives

Required qualifications

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries
• 7-10 years of experience in actuarial, healthcare finance, or operations with a focus on leading cross-functional initiatives
• Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage economics, including risk adjustment and value-based care
• Advanced skills in SQL and Excel, with experience in Python or R and modern AI tools for analytical workflows
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including setting priorities and influencing senior stakeholders
