Senior Manager, Billing Operations

Job Summary

To drive operational excellence in billing processes, the full-time Senior Manager, Billing Operations will oversee a multi-tiered team, manage compliance and rejection resolution, and collaborate with cross-functional departments, with the option for remote work available to candidates residing in specific states.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team across billing compliance, rejections, and operations functions, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Oversee end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Analyze rejected invoices and implement process improvements to minimize rejections and maximize revenue recovery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 7+ years of progressive experience in billing team management, particularly in the legal industry
• Experience with Matter setup and client onboarding, focusing on eBilled matters
• Hands-on experience with Aderant, BillBlast, and Intapp billing platforms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends for operational improvements
