Senior Manager Cloud Development

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the remote Senior Manager Cloud Development will oversee the design and delivery of the Rancher as a Service (RaaS) platform, focusing on transforming Kubernetes operations into a standardized, automated service model while ensuring security and compliance across multi-cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance across all clusters
• Manage user permissions and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) policies
• Lead the continuous improvement of Kubernetes operations and service capabilities

Required qualifications

• Experience in transforming technical platforms into customer-facing Managed IT Services
• Deep expertise in managing Kubernetes platforms at enterprise scale
• Strong knowledge of Rancher or similar Kubernetes management platforms
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with compliance-driven environments such as FedRAMP or NIST
