Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative cloud services, the full-time Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering will lead a distributed team, define technical and operational strategies, and drive continuous improvement in engineering standards while working in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical, product, operational, and organizational strategies for public cloud services
• Lead and mentor a diverse, distributed engineering team to enhance accountability and performance
• Guide teams through architecture and security reviews while implementing security features to improve platform security

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a senior management role
• 5 years of experience in distributed systems or cloud services
• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of core cloud infrastructure including compute, virtual networking, and storage
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills with experience in performance benchmarking and optimization
