Senior Manager, CMC Project Management

Job Summary

To drive cross-functional planning and execution across pipeline programs, the full-time Senior Manager, CMC Project Management will manage project teams, develop integrated project plans, and ensure risk management in a hybrid role based in South San Francisco, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to manage planning and execution of program activities in alignment with corporate goals
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including timelines, dependencies, and budget considerations
• Establish risk registries, proactively identify risks, and define mitigation strategies to prevent program delays

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or related field with at least 7 years of project management experience in the biotechnology industry
• At least 3 years of direct project management experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
• Working knowledge of CMC development concepts and familiarity with Clinical Development processes
• Cell therapy experience is strongly preferred; experience with biologics or complex modalities is highly desirable
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet and Microsoft Project
