Senior Manager, Coding Audits

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Coding Auditing & Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs audit team to complete external audits and ensures timely project completion
• Prepares and presents coding audits to clients, including participation in rebuttals
• Interviews, hires, and trains Audit and Education Specialists while monitoring their performance

Required Qualifications

• Five years of supervisory experience
• Ten or more years of experience with coding audits, including facility and provider audits
• One or more active credentials from AHIMA and/or AAPC (e.g., CCS, CPC, RHIA)
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Medicare regulatory guidelines
• Experience with multiple electronic medical record systems and encoders
