Leading a team of writers and editors, the full-time Senior Manager Content Editor will shape and drive the editorial content strategy for Choice Hotels, ensuring high-quality written content across various platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand engagement and support revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the editorial strategy to align with marketing, brand, and business priorities
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of writers and editors, fostering creativity and accountability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or related field
• 5-7+ years of professional writing, content strategy, or communications experience
• 3-5+ years leading editorial teams or managing writers/editors
• Proven track record in driving organic search growth and brand storytelling
• Expertise in SEO principles and content optimization
