Senior Manager, Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the Enterprise Platform Data Engineering team, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Data Engineering will own people leadership, delivery, and technical direction for data platforms and pipelines that support the organization's data strategy and quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the Enterprise Platform data strategy, consolidating siloed data sources into a unified and governed architecture
• Provide technical leadership and set architectural standards for the Enterprise Platform Data Engineering team
• Architect advanced data integration strategies and lead the design of robust platform capabilities for analytics and decision-making

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing data engineers or equivalent teams, with accountability for performance and delivery
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and Big Data development, including enterprise-scale data platforms
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and their advanced services
• Expert-level proficiency in server-side programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala, with expertise in PySpark/Spark
• Proven expertise in data modeling, architecture, and designing systems for performance and scalability
