Senior Manager, Data Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a team of Data Engineers and Data Architects, the full-time Senior Manager, Data Engineering will oversee the development of foundational data products and platforms that support strategic priorities in Research, Oncology, and AI transformation, while working remotely and providing hands-on technical leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the data engineering strategy, aligning team objectives with organizational goals
- Guide planning and execution of data engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage a team of 6-8 data engineers, providing direction, feedback, and fostering a positive team culture
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams on complex projects
- Experience working with data from Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is required
- 1+ years of experience with Epic EHRs is preferred
