Senior Manager, Data Governance

Job Summary

Driving the governance roadmap, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Data Governance will design, deploy, and scale programs and processes that ensure data trustworthiness, compliance, and discoverability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale the Data Domain Model, ensuring clear domain ownership and seamless onboarding of new domains
• Champion the development and execution of enterprise data policies, monitoring compliance and coordinating remediation efforts
• Lead operations of the Business Glossary, facilitating term definition workshops and ensuring integration of metadata standards into data products

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise analytics within a high-growth tech environment
• Proven experience in building or scaling enterprise data governance programs from design to adoption
• Hands-on experience with modern data catalog/metadata platforms such as DataHub or Alation
• Proficiency in SQL for data inspection and quality analysis
• Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and concepts, including DAMA-DMBOK
