Senior Manager, Data Migration
Job Summary
Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Data Migration will oversee the design and execution of data import, migration, and transformation processes, ensuring high-quality transitions from legacy EHR systems to new environments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage ETL workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading data into athenahealth systems
- Provide technical direction for Python-based tools and automation related to data import and migration activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration requirements, business rules, and source-to-target mappings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL, data migration, or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience leading engineers or managing technical projects/teams
- Experience with ETL, SQL, and Python
- Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards
