Senior Manager, Data Science

Job Summary

Leading a team in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Manager, Data Science will develop advanced models and decision systems to enhance caregiver-client matching, scheduling, and operational efficiency while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Care Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the Data Science and Applied AI roadmap to maximize impact through predictive modeling and optimization
• Lead the development of production models that enhance matching, scheduling, and service reliability
• Establish standards for evaluating and deploying machine learning and AI-enabled systems while mentoring the team as a player-coach

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of developing production models that drive significant business outcomes
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex operational challenges
• Strong understanding of the principles of applied AI, including system design and evaluation
• Educational background in a quantitative or technical field is preferred, but demonstrated ability and impact are prioritized
