Senior Manager, Energy Market Analytics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Energy Market Analytics & Forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own long-term LMP forecasts and maintain views on power price trends and capacity market value
• Develop market participation strategies and track implications of market rule changes
• Represent the company's views on energy value and technology economics to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 7 - 10+ years in energy markets with experience in power market analytics and energy storage dispatch
• Deep familiarity with ISO market structures across at least two of PJM, MISO, or SPP
• Hands-on experience with LMP forecasting and production cost or capacity expansion tools
• Proficient in Python and SQL for analysis and prototyping
• Experience managing forecast vendors and market consultants
