Senior Manager, Environmental Risk

Job Summary

Leading multidisciplinary project teams, the full-time Senior Manager, Environmental Risk will provide technical expertise in environmental risk management and impact strategy, focusing on mining and sustainable infrastructure projects while working remotely or from the Arlington, VA office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery, including proposal development, budgeting, and implementation for environmental management initiatives
• Identify and manage partnerships to enhance project quality and deliverables within the mining sector
• Contribute to business development by pursuing new opportunities and preparing technical proposals targeting private sector clients

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of senior-level experience in environmental management or ESG implementation, particularly in the mining industry
• 5+ years of direct experience working with mining companies as clients
• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields preferred
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language (French, Spanish, or Portuguese)
• Strong networks within the mining and minerals sector
