Job Summary

Leading multiple remote teams, the full-time Senior Manager, First Party Medical (TX Licensed) will oversee first-party medical claims operations, establish efficient processes, and drive talent development while occasionally traveling for team engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple teams within the First-Party Medical Unit to ensure effective claims handling
• Establish processes that enhance technical claim handling and improve loss performance and customer satisfaction
• Utilize analytics and technology to drive process innovation and operational efficiency within claims operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of experience in leading first-party medical claim adjudication, including complex investigations
• Strong technical understanding of policy interpretation and familiarity with claims best practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain insurance licenses in several states, including Texas, within three months
• Experience managing complex first-party claims involving litigation preferred
