Senior Manager, Insurance Operations

Job Summary

To fundamentally reshape insurance filings, the full-time Senior Manager, Insurance Operations will lead filing platform and automation initiatives while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Actuarial, and Compliance teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead filing platform and automation initiatives from concept through rollout, working closely with cross-functional teams
• Map filing workflows and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities for AI integration and efficiency gains
• Drive adoption of new tools and workflows, translating platform capabilities into clear value for stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in insurance with exposure to filings, regulatory operations, or compliance
• 3+ years of team leadership experience with a track record of managing technically strong individuals
• Direct experience with automation and process improvement
• Hands-on fluency with LLMs like Claude or ChatGPT, with the ability to build prompts and map logic
• Advanced data analysis skills to extract insights that drive platform decisions
