Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting to oversee inventory-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all inventory accounting processes, including cost accounting and inventory valuation
• Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions and oversee physical inventory counts
• Analyze inventory variances and trends, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience with significant inventory exposure
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and inventory accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
